As the movie progresses more unsettling events happen and Robin finds a dark secret of Simon’s past. Then Robyn starts to question how well she knows her husband and the character of her husband. Traudl describes Hitler’s tumultuous last days, during which he is obsessed by anger and paranoia, while Eva Braun (Juliane Köhler), his longtime companion, fears that he may become emotionally detached. Other senior Nazis rush to get ready for the impending demise as the situation becomes more dire. The narrative provides a terrifying look into the thoughts of people who were alive during the last hours of the Third Reich.
